Location- The Roxborough
subdivision is located in the south end of the Denver metropolitan area
in Douglas County. This golf course community is a largely popular area
due to its location and quick access to Chatfield State Park,
Roxborough State Park, Littleton, Highlands Ranch and the Denver Tech
Center. The boundaries that define Roxborough-Arrow Head are Hawks Nest
Trail, Totem Run, Foothills, and the western undefined area where some
of the homes blend into the mountain side backing up to Pike National
Forest. Arrowhead Golf Course is right in your own backyard.

History: In 1861, the Colorado Territorial Session
Laws created Douglas County, named after Stephen A. Douglas. Known as
the “Litlle Giant,” Douglas battled his own Democractic Party, as wella
s the Republican Abraham Lincoln, over issues of slavery, the
Kansas-Nebraska Act, and popular sovereignty. Douglas County originally
stretched from the Rockies to the State of Kansas border.
