Location-
Englewood is a suburb
south of Denver in Arapahoe County. Many of the residents who live in
Englewood are employees of the Denver Technological Center (DTC).

History-
Englewood received it’s name due to the abundant fruit orchards
surrounding the area. Englewood was incorporated in 1903 and has
maintained its small-town charm.
Recreation- Englewood’s
Parks and recreation department maintains over 17 parks and greenbelts
with over 135 acres. The Englewood Recreation Center, a 54,000-square
foot building, is home to an Olympic-size pool, running track,
basketball courts, aerobic workout rooms and racquetball courts. The
Englewood Municipal Golf Course is an 18 hole course with putting and
chipping greens, a driving range, and clubhouse. And as always the
outdoors recreational activities of walking, hiking, and biking are
available throughout the city.
