Location-
Broomfield is located
midway between Denver and Boulder in Boulder County. Broomfield is a
thriving residential and industrial community. Broomfield is a growing
community in the metropolitan area with it’s panoramic view of the
mountains and the many area lakes.

History-
The Apaches, Cheyenne and Arapaho Native Americans foraged and hunted
the land for game animals as they followed the migrating game. During
the territorial days, trappers and traders survived on the hides of
beaver and the meat and hides of the bison. Broomfield in 1803 became
part of the Louisiana Purchase, and then was recognized as part of the
Missouri Territory, along with Nebraska and Kansas until 1861 when the
Colorado Territory was created. The Broomfield area officially joined
the union when Colorado became a state in 1876.
Recreation- Broomfield
offers 55 parks that include playgrounds, athletic fields, picnic
areas, trails, batting cages, shelters, ice rinks, and much more.
Broomfield parks are available to rent for parties and weddings.
