located in Arapahoe County, Colorado just south and west of Denver .
Bow Mar is bordered by Denver on the north and Littleton on the east.

History: Bow Mar was
incorporated as a town under the State of Colorado in 1958 and is
governed by an elected mayor and a six member Board of Trustees, with
elections held every two years.

Bow Mar is close to the big city for shopping.
Recreation:
The common areas in Bow Mar, including the beach, are run by Bow Mar
Owners, Inc. (BMOI). Access to the beach, lake, and tennis courts is
obtained by joining BMOI. BMOI member involves paying an initiation fee
of $3,000 and yearly dues of approximately $860 per year for admittance
and use of the facilities, which include, Bow Mar Beach (115 acre lake
with beach and picnic areas), marina, and the tennis courts.
